Upgrade of El-Thawra Street in Cairo

The two-way El-Thawra Street has undergone an upgrade to ease the heavy traffic for residents of eastern Cairo, such as Madinaty and El-Shorouk.

The development process included making an interchange from Hussein Kamel Street to facilitate traffic flow from Salah Salem Road to the New Administrative Capital and El-Shorouk City. With that travel time would not exceed 13 or 14 minutes.

The upgrade targeting a one-way 4 km-long and 45 m-wide, five-lane divided street is finally completed.
