Alexandria Naval Base Development

President El-Sisi raised the flag on Alexandria Naval Base after developing it in accordance with the latest combat and technical systems and on 4 new marine units, which are the Mistral helicopter carrier, Anwar Sadat, and (209/1400) submarines 41 and 42 as well as the Gowind stealth frigate to impose Egyptian sovereignty over the territorial and economic waters. President El-Sisi also inspected the simulation complex, the dock complex and the submarines hangar under the leadership of the Egyptian navy were led by the naval forces.

President El-Sisi also watched a documentary film about the Egyptian navy’s heroic achievements. Then, he made an inspection tour in Alexandria base that included the simulation complex, which is the seventh of its kind in the world, and submarines hangar, which is the first in the Middle East, in addition to the new installations that were established at the base.
