It is built at a length of 6610 m and a width of 21 m with 2 lanes in each direction, connecting the Eastern Desert Road to the western one.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, witnessed the opening of the Tama axis over the Nile River with a length of 6610 meters and a width of 21 meters with two traffic lanes for each direction to completely link the Eastern Desert Road to the Western Desert Road.
