Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a Republican Decree appointing Lieutenant General Mohamed Abdel Rahman Bassiouni Salem Rabie, Head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, as Head of the National Authority for Crisis and Emergency Management.
The decree further appointed Major General Hany Mahmoud Sayed Mansour, Director of the Armed Forces Signal Corps, as Deputy Head of the National Authority for Crisis and Emergency Management.
In addition, the decree appointed Major General Sameh Nabil Youssef from the Ministry of Interior as Assistant to the Head of the National Authority for Crisis and Emergency Management, effective as of 9 July, 2026.
