Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi conducted an inspection tour at the Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Capital, where he was received by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, along with the commanders of the main branches of the Armed Forces.
Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that the President performed the Dhuhr prayer during his tour at the Strategic Command Headquarters together with the commanders of the Armed Forces.
President El-Sisi then visited the Egyptian Military Academy. The President reviewed part of the training activities carried out by the students studying at the academy, whether from the Egyptian military colleges or from participants enrolled in academy courses from various ministries and state institutions.
In this context, the President stressed the importance of continuing to improve the students’ efficiency by providing them with the best forms of training in line with the highest technical and personal standards, in order to prepare distinguished national cadres capable of serving state institutions efficiently and competently.
President El-Sisi joined the students of the Military Academy for lunch in an atmosphere characterized by cordiality and appreciation.
The President also engaged in an interactive dialogue with the students discussing domestic conditions and current regional developments.
The President noted the repercussions of successive crises on the national economy, commending the level of awareness and understanding among the Egyptian people.
In this regard, the President emphasized that the Iranian crisis and the escalating tensions in the region have cast dangerous and negative shadows over the global economy and regional stability.
The President further stressed that the Egyptian state continues to uphold its consistent approach in supporting Arab unity and strengthening solidarity among fraternal countries, based on a firm belief that the stability of the Arab world is a shared and indivisible responsibility.
President El-Sisi reaffirmed that the purpose of his visits to the academy is to personally check on the students’ conditions and follow up on the educational programs, which are undergoing continuous development.
The President praised the seriousness and commitment he consistently observes among the students, whether from the Egyptian military colleges or from participants enrolled in academy courses from various state institutions.
President El-Sisi concluded his inspection tour by recording a message of appreciation to the commanders of the Armed Forces and extending his sincere wishes for success and prosperity to the academy’s students.
The President underscored the vital role of students’ families in raising generations capable of achieving the nation’s aspirations for development and building a more prosperous future.
