Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in a meeting held at Ittihadia Palace with Egyptian women and ideal mothers. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Minister of Local Development Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Culture Dr. Gihan Zaki, President's Advisor for National Security Affairs Dr. Fayza Abou El-Naga, President's Advisor for Economic Affairs Hala El-Said, President of the National Council for Women Counselor Amal Ammar, and a number of leading Egyptian women from various fields.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said both the Minister of Social Solidarity and the President of the National Council for Women delivered speeches at the beginning of the meeting, during which they reviewed efforts to support and empower Egyptian women, particularly in the areas of political, economic, and social empowerment, their assumption of leadership positions in society, and the state's efforts to support Egyptian women, especially through social protection programs such as "Takaful and Karama," increased cash support for Egyptian families and female heads of households, and the promotion of women's economic empowerment through Egypt's Vision 2030.
President El-Sisi also delivered a speech.
President El-Sisi engaged actively in a dialogue with the participants on various topics related to women, motherhood, childhood, and social and art initiatives. The President emphasized his profound respect for women and their national and educational role, stressing the importance of preserving women's rights and achievements. The President pointed to the pivotal role of drama and media in solidifying respect for women and guaranteeing their rights and emphasized the need to prioritize the care of orphans, exploring the possibility of expanding the foster family program, and focusing on orphanages, senior care facilities, and support for people with special needs. The President commended the role of charitable and civil society organizations in providing funding and care for beneficiaries across all categories. Furthermore, the President highlighted the importance of objectively discovering talents in all fields, including sports and the arts, and gave directives to study the launch of "State of Arts and Creativity" program, similar to the "State of Recitation" program.
