Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Advisor to the President for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed and Head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority Major General Mohamed Rabei.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the meeting covered a number of items related to the missions and efforts of the Armed Forces in completing national projects. This comes within their role in the development process, while working in conjunction with all ministries and state bodies, to improve the efficiency of public services and therefore effectively realize the state's development vision and achieve sustainable development plans.
President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of the various phases of national projects across the country, while committing to accuracy and technical efficiency to ultimately provide a decent life for citizens across Egypt.
The President commended the efforts of the Egyptian state and its national institutions to confront the challenges arising from successive global and regional crises. The President expressed his pride in the contributions and sacrifices of the Armed Forces in carrying out all the tasks and duties assigned to them to safeguard the homeland and protect its national security.
