President El-Sisi and King of Bahrain Exchange Eid Greetings

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from the King of Bahrain, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the Bahraini king extended his heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and wished Egypt and the Egyptian people progress and prosperity.
President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and both the Arab and Islamic nations all goodness, asking Allah to bestow His blessings upon them and to maintain Bahrain’s security and stability.
The call affirmed the deep-rooted relations between Egypt and Bahrain, and the interest of both leaderships in strengthening them across various fields, thus fulfilling the aspirations of both peoples for further progress and prosperity.
The call also emphasized the importance of continuing political coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
