President El-Sisi Meets Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff, Commanders of Main Branches

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and General Mohamed Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as the leaders of the main branches of the Armed Forces, together with the participation of the Director of Military Intelligence and Reconnaissance Department.

The Spokesman for the Presidency stated that the meeting reviewed the efforts of the armed forces to assist all state agencies to support the implementation of the necessary measures for confronting the spread of the novel coronavirus. A number of files relevant to the activities and tasks of the armed forces, were also discussed, in all strategic directions and axes to protect the national security pillars and safeguard state capabilities and gains.
