President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Condemns the Attempted Assassination of Iraq’s Prime Minister

I followed with great concern the news of the heinous assassination attempt targeting Iraq's Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, this morning. As I strongly condemn this outrageous attempt, I pray Allah the Almighty to protect him and for security and stability to be realized for Iraq and its people. I also call on all parties and political powers in Iraq to adhere to calm, renounce violence and maintain solidarity so as to preserve the country’s stability and achieve the aspirations of the brotherly people of Iraq.
