President El-Sisi Follows-up on Preparations to Relocate to the New Administrative Capital

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Prime Minister, Dr. Moustafa Madbouly. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Assem El- Gazzar, and Advisor to the President for Urban Planning, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the meeting followed-up on progress in preparations to relocate to the New Administrative Capital.

President El-Sisi was briefed on efforts to move ministries and governmental entities to the New Administrative Capital, with a focus on the government district and the facilities and services it hosts. President El-Sisi gave directives to continue construction work, in line with the planned schedule, stressing the importance of full commitment to the highest quality standards, time-schedules and actual implementation rates on the ground.

The Minister of Housing reviewed the executive status of housing units for employees in the New Administrative Capital, particularly with regard to the administrative procedures required for real estate financing for the residential units.
