President El-Sisi Follows-up on Development of Litigation System

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Minister of Justice Counselor Omar Marawan. The Spokesman for the Presidency stated that the meeting reviewed efforts to develop the litigation system nationwide.
 
The Minister of Justice reviewed the main aspects of developing the litigation system, in terms of raising the efficiency of the current court premises and buildings in all governorates, and developing the technical aspect by expanding the application of AI techniques in converting speech into written text during sessions.
 
The President stressed the importance of expanding the use of the latest electronic and technological means in the court system so as to expedite procedures and reduce litigation time, as well as the generalization of remote litigation system in all courts in the coming period.
 
Counselor Marawan also presented progress regarding the development of the historical headquarters of Real Estate Registration Authority, as well as efforts to develop the real estate registry system. The President underlined the importance of continuing the automation of all branches and documentation offices to upgrade work mechanisms in the real estate registry and the documents issued by it, given its importance and its daily interaction with citizens from all categories across the country.
 
The President was also briefed on the measures taken by the Ministry of Justice to end governmental disputes between the various parties. In this context, all cases have been adjudicated, some of which date back to the nineties.
