President El-Sisi Reviews Developments in Presidential Healthcare Initiatives

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Advisor to the President for Health and Preventative Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the meeting reviewed the latest with regard to a multitude of presidential initiatives in the healthcare sector nationwide.

President El-Sisi was updated on efforts exerted to provide the latest German medical equipment to support the medical and healthcare initiatives, particularly with regard to ambulances and intensive-care transport ambulances as well as ambulances equipped for examining patients. This comes as part of the various healthcare initiatives implemented under the sponsorship of the President, including in particular the ‘Decent Life’ and ‘ 100 Million Healthy Lives’ initiatives as well as medical convoys. This is in addition to early inspection equipment for tumors and various diseases to supply them to Egypt according to its needs.

President El-Sisi gave directives to provide equipment at the highest medical and technical levels in the various specialities, particularly healthcare for women, so as to deliver the services to the largest number possible of citizens in different areas included in the various presidential healthcare initiatives across the country.

President El-Sisi stressed the need to provide training for medical staff in the deal to deliver medical cars.

The meeting also followed up on the plan to vaccinate students and faculty staff against the coronavirus, which has so far achieved positive rates, after the ministry of health and population was able to provide the amounts of vaccinations needed for the various educational institutions.

President El-Sisi underlined the importance of swiftly completing the vaccinations of all university students and those working in the education sector against the coronavirus, while continuing to adhere to all precautionary and preventive measures, with a view to ensure the safety and security of education staff members, students and their families.
