President El-Sisi Chairs the Meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces

This morning, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces. The President began the meeting by congratulating the Egyptian people and the men of the Armed Forces in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The meeting also discussed a number of files and topics related to the activities, missions and efforts of the Armed Forces in protecting the Egyptian national security at all strategic directions of the State.

The President issued a decree promoting Commander of the Air Defense Staff Major General Mohamed Hegazy Abdul-Mawgoud to the rank of Lieutenant General.
