I extend my greetings and appreciation to the Egyptian farmer on Farmer’s Day on which he won his independence, freedom, pride and dignity. I stress that we are highly keen to support farmers and to harness all the necessary potentials to provide them with a decent life.
Egypt, with its Pyramids, the Suez Canal and the High Dam, stands witness to the effort, exertion and ingeniousness of millions of farmers over the ages.
