President El-Sisi Meets with PM and Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, and Advisor to the President for Financial Affairs Major General Mohamed Amin.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the general plan of implementing Al-Fustat Park project.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly set out the details of this project, the largest of its kind in the Middle East. It will be built on an area of 500 feddans in the heart of Historic Cairo, embracing the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Ain El-Sira Lake, the Religious Complex and Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque.

The Spokesperson added that this park will include several activities presenting variations on the themes of the Egyptian heritage through the Pharaonic, Coptic, Islamic and modern eras. It will also include a range of cultural and commercial activities, hotel services and open theaters. In addition, the park will house an archaeological area and heritage gardens.

In the center of the park, there will be a large plateau over which visitors can see the Giza Pyramids, Salah El-Din Citadel and the minarets of Cairo.

The President called for the immediate implementation of this project with a tight time frame to get it done. This is one of the many projects carried out by the State to develop Greater Cairo. Such project aims to reflect the ancient Egyptian civilization.

In the same vein, the roads, axes and main entrances surrounding the project site are to be developed to improve the flow of traffic.
