President El-Sisi Meets with PM and Ministers of Education and Communications

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Education and Technical Education Tarek Shawky, and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Dr. Amr Talaat.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the latest preparations for Thanaweya Amma exams for the current school year 2020/2021. The joint efforts between the Ministries of Education and Communications within the framework of the new educational system were further discussed. This system is applied in about 2,500 schools nationwide.

The results of the preliminary examinations that have been held so far, in preparation for the Thanaweya Amma exams next July, have been presented. The officials also showcased the sophisticated system for examination procedures, including putting questions, conducting electronic exams, and grading answers.

In this context, President El-Sisi gave directions to the officials concerned to facilitate the process of implementing the new system of Thanaweya Amma exams in order to ensure that students perform well in an easy manner.

The computer-based and paper-based exam versions will be both available.
