President El-Sisi Receives the President of UAE

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received at El Alamein Airport HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, as a dear guest of Egypt.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said that during their meeting the two leaders exchanged views on international issues, regional security and the current situation in the Arab region. President El-Sisi and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stressed the importance of strengthening joint Arab action and Arab unity in the face of the challenges the Arab region is encountering and in order to unify all efforts conducive to  durable solutions to the crises in the region’s countries. These solutions shall contribute to establishing the foundations of security and stability in these counties and to achieving stability and peace for their peoples.

During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation and the numerous promising opportunities available to promote it toward higher levels that shall strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in the economic and development fields. This aims to fulfill their aspirations to achieve sustainable development, progress and prosperity for their two brotherly peoples.
