President El-Sisi Meets with Naval Group CEO

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received this morning at his residence in Paris Mr. Pierre Éric Pommellet Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Naval Group, the French leader in naval defense.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that Mr. Pommellet stressed the company's keenness to develop its cooperation with Egypt, as it is one of its most important partners in the world. He also said that it is important to have further discussions between the two sides on prospects for future cooperation, in support of Egypt's capabilities in this regard. Mr. Pommellet praised the technical capacity of the Egyptian Navy personnel which managed to operate the technologically advanced naval units produced by the company in record time and with high efficiency.

President El-Sisi expressed Egypt's appreciation for the existing cooperation with Naval Group. His Excellency stressed that the Naval Group’s products in the field of naval defense contribute to the development and modernization of the Egyptian Navy.
