Today, President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi met with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan at his residence in Washington, D.C.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said that the U.S. National Security Advisor welcomed President El-Sisi’s visit to Washington D.C., valuing Egypt’s role under his leadership in strengthening security and stability in its regional milieu. He affirmed the U.S.’ mutual interest to strengthen and advance the strategic partnership relations between the two countries during the next period in various areas, particularly in security and military cooperation.
President El-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s pride in its strategic partnership with the United States, expressing his aspiration to continue working on developing the bonds of cooperation between the two countries at all levels during the coming period. The President underscored the need to further enhance coordination and consultations between the two countries on regional issues of mutual interest, which will enable them to address the unprecedented challenges and crises facing the Middle East.
