President El-Sisi Receives French Minister of Economy and Finance

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received this morning at his residence in Paris French Minister of Economy and Finance Mr. Bruno Le Maire.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that Mr. Le Maire congratulated President El-Sisi on the remarkable performance of the Egyptian economy during the current year and its growth rates. Egypt is the only country in the region to achieve such positive indicators and this reflects the successful economic and financial policies pursued by the Egyptian State under the wise leadership of President El-Sisi and the effective and influential role played by Egypt to lay the foundations of security and stability in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean. All of these factors increase France's keenness to maximize cooperation with the Egyptian government in various fields.

President El-Sisi stressed that Egypt gives priority to the economic cooperation file between Egypt and France. His Excellency expressed his aspiration to deepen and develop the horizons of joint cooperation in this regard, especially in terms of industry localization, technology transfer and the ancient French expertise. He also stressed the importance of making the utmost use of the promising opportunities in the mega projects in Egypt and improving the investment climate and the modern infrastructure network.
