President El-Sisi Participates in Egypt-Visegrad Group Summit Press Conference

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi confirms at the Egypt- Visegrad Summit that we are a leadership that respects and loves its people and seeks their advancement and there is a need for Europe to understand the unfolding developments in Egypt.

During the press conference of the Egypt-Visegrad Group Summit, President El-Sisi confirmed that Egypt did not leave the refugees to meet their fate at sea nor face the unknown, but rather integrated them in the Egyptian society. The President added that Egypt did not accept, from both an ethical and a humanitarian perspective, housing refugees in camps nor sending them to Europe by means of illegal immigration.

The President explained that Egypt seeks to progress across various fields in order to offer a decent life to citizens, referencing the Decent Life Initiative, which seeks to improve the lives of 60 million citizens in the Egyptian countryside.
