Today, Judge Abdullah Omar Mustafa Shoudh was sworn in as President of the Court of Cassation before President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The President also awarded the Order of the Republic, First Class, to Judge Abdullah Amin Mahmoud Assr, former President of the Court of Cassation.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President El-Sisi expressed his profound appreciation for the efforts the former President of the Court of Cassation devoted to make sure that justice is done and the law is enforced in furtherance of the national interest. His Excellency paid tribute to the rich history of the lofty Egyptian judiciary.
