President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Inaugurates “Turathna” Exhibition

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated “Turathna” Exhibition for traditional handcrafts and products at the Cairo International Convention Centre.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President El-Sisi toured the different halls of the third edition of the exhibition, in which 1,500 exhibitors are taking part. Also, a number of countries are participating in this year’s exhibition such as the UAE, Jordan and Sudan, within the framework of enhancing regional cooperation and intra-trade as well as strengthening bonds between the peoples.

The President exchanged words with the exhibitors, including the youth, women and people with special needs. The President listened to their suggestions and ideas and directed the provision of facilitations and support in order to help them overcome any obstacles they might face. This is in order to enhance traditional handcrafts for which Egyptian governorates are distinct.  This demonstrates the state’s support for the youth and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, in addition to enhancing mechanisms for presenting and marketing their goods in the market.
