President El-Sisi Visits the Police Academy

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi visited the Police Academy, where he was received by Minister of Interior, Mahmoud Tawfik, and leaders of the Police Academy and Ministry of Interior.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the President’s inspection comes within the context of his keenness on following-up on the preparations and training of Police Academy students. The President commenced his visit by attending the queuing-up of new male and female students. Addressing the cadets, President El-Sisi congratulated them on their admission to the Academy, and having the honor of joining the police authority, whose men are watching over the security of the homeland and the citizens.

President El-Sisi was briefed on the electronic system for evaluating students in various fields, through which periodic follow-ups and continuous evaluation of student performance are carried out. The President then witnessed the male and female students perform various fitness exercises and navigate obstacle courses, showcasing the outstanding levels they have reached, both physically and skillfully.

President El-Sisi also inspected the college’s Olympic swimming pool and watched the cadets perform the leap of confidence before heading to the combat training fields complex, where they are trained on conducting raids and tactical combat operations. President El-Sisi then watched a presentation on the various training fields in the complex, and witnessed different types of training, such as simulated shooting. Finally, President El-Sisi concluded his tour of the complex by observing practical shooting training and visiting the equestrian club, listening to a detailed explanation of the types of purebred Arabian horses of the Academy’s cavalry.

A conversation was held between the President and the cadets on the most prominent local issues and developments as well as efforts made by the state nationwide through the mega national projects. They also discussed the latest developments and crises at the international level, their repercussions on the Egyptian economy, and the state’s efforts to contain them.

At the conclusion of the inspection, the President addressed parents of newly enrolled male and female students in the visiting area to congratulate them. His Excellency thanked them for encouraging their sons and daughters to join the police force, where they would be trained and qualified to be the protectors of Egypt’s security in the near future alongside the courageous men of the Armed Forces.
