President El-Sisi Congratulates the New President of Brazil

President Abdel-Fattah-El-Sisi:

I extend my sincere congratulations to President Lula da Silva on his election as President of Brazil, and wish him all success in realizing the aspirations of the Brazilian people for development and prosperity.

I look forward to cooperating with President da Silva to consolidate the distinguished bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields. I invite him to participate in the Global Climate Summit COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, next month. I believe that Brazil is able to play a positive and constructive role during this upcoming summit to promote climate action at the international level.
