Egypt Airlifts More Emergency Aid to Flood-Affected People in Sudan

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Egypt airlifts more emergency aid to the Sudanese people hit by the flash floods that have ravaged Sudan recently.

A military transport plane, loaded with food and medical supplies, took off from Cairo East Air Base en route to Khartoum International Airport to help lift the burden on the people of Sudan.

The Sudanese officials expressed their appreciation to the Egyptian leadership, people and army for extending a helping hand to them amid this crisis. They also stressed that this support affirms that Egypt holds the Arab and African nations in high regard and reflects its active role in supporting its brothers in times of adversity and crisis.
