President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the Egyptians on Sinai Liberation Day saying: "On this day, Egypt has regained its entire territory. This would not have happened except with the struggle that Egypt waged on all fronts to liberate Sinai. I extend my sincere greetings on this glorious day to our righteous martyrs from this genuine people. I extend my greetings to the men of the armed forces who fought in the most honorable battles. I pay tribute to the ingenuity of the Egyptian negotiators and everyone who participated in making this historical epic. Long live Egypt as a dignified and dear homeland for which we make the supreme sacrifice. Have a blessed day.”
