Badr Hospital in Helwan University

Based on the vision of completing the infrastructure needed for medical science faculties and supporting sciences faculties and to enhance the medical education system along the healthcare services, benefiting about 100 thousand citizens in Badr City and nearby areas, this medical edifice has been established.

The hospital is located on “Cairo – Suez” road, 46 km away from Cairo, providing the needed medical services for the residents of the city.

Badr hospital is starting off with 100 inpatient beds, 3 operation theaters, a cardiac catheterization unit, a dialysis unit with 12 machines, 10 neonatal intensive care units, blood bank and gynecology and premature babies’ departments. The hospital was also equipped with the latest devices for: x-ray departments, intensive care units, and upper endoscopy, lower GI endoscopy, and respiratory endoscopy units.
