Aswan General Hospital

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi opened Aswan General Hospital in New Sadaka area through video conference from Damietta.

The hospital was established on an area of 14,400 m2, at a cost of LE 140 million for construction works, besides LE 155 million for medical devices that include 175 beds, 46 intensive care beds, 7 of which are for children, 11 of which are medium care units and the rest are intensive care units, along with 4 major operating rooms and 18 dialysis machines, 21 nurseries, and 12 specialized clinics and physiotherapy departments. It will also include 156 doctors, 611 nurses and 78 administrative staff. It is established by the Armed Forces Engineering Corps.
