“In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful”
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Attendees,
It is with profound pleasure that I find myself among you every year, so we convey together a message to the givers of sacrifice, our valiant martyrs, who exemplified the utmost dedication to the preservation of this nation and the safeguarding the resources of our great people. This unwavering commitment unequivocally reflects the enduring will of our nation throughout its history, demonstrating its capability and overpower against any obstacle that stands in the way of achieving its security, well-being, and leadership.
For this nation, there are men who have achieved the impossible, consistently securing Egypt's steadfastness in both past and present, solidifying the unity of the Egyptian people and fortifying their resilience. May our noble people thrive in prosperity, security, and peace.
It is indeed a fortunate coincidence that our commemoration this year, marking Martyrs' Day, aligns with the anniversary of the Tenth of Ramadan victory, during which Egypt waged one of its most honorable battles. In this battle, our men performed extraordinary feats that propelled us towards horizons of dignity and pride, through the unity of our people and the fortitude of our army, who were determined to achieve victory.
Our righteous martyrs did not merely offer their lives; they bestowed upon Egypt its future. They paved the path to stability and security, upon which we continue our journey of construction and development today. By virtue of their sacrifices, Egypt has been empowered to confront adversities and proceed with the execution of national initiatives, which now stand as a testament to the resilience of this nation and the resolve of its people.
Today, we demonstrably witness the tangible results of these sacrifices across every part of Egypt, from newly constructed cities to projects that define the contours of the New Republic. None of this would have been possible without the pure blood that was shed to uphold this nation's safety, stability, and capacity for progress and development.
As we honor the memory of our great martyrs today, we reaffirm our commitment to their families. They have not only lost their sons but have also offered the ultimate sacrifice for the nation: their most precious loved ones. Egypt does not forget its loyal sons and will always stand by them, just as our armed forces—the nation's shield and sword—will remain steadfast in the face of any threat, protecting the resources of these great people.
Esteemed attendees,
Despite the successive events unfolding in the world and our region, and the dangers and threats that have created a turbulent reality, particularly with regard to the Palestinian cause, Egypt persists in its endeavors to present visions for achieving security and peace in the region, as a pivotal actor in this issue. Egypt has consistently articulated its firm stance since the outset of events, emphasizing that there is no resolution to this cause, except through working towards upholding justice, establishing a Palestinian state, and rejecting the displacement of the Palestinian people from their land under any pretext. This stance could not have been sustained without the awareness of the Egyptian people and their alignment with the political leadership, clearly demonstrating sincere intentions and love for the homeland.
Allow me to extend tribute to the steadfast Palestinian people, who resiliently endure on their ancestral land, assuring them that we will provide every possible support in their battle for survival and destiny.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Before I conclude my speech, I extend a well-deserved tribute to the Egyptian people and armed forces for their tireless efforts over the past years, during which we have striven to build the capabilities of this nation militarily, politically, and economically. These efforts have enabled us to overcome all challenges and have prepared us to face all threats. What has been achieved on Egyptian soil, despite all circumstances, has empowered us to stand firmly, defending our present and securing the future for generations to come.
In conclusion, on behalf of the Egyptian people, we extend a salute of appreciation and reverence to our valiant martyrs and their honorable families for their sacrifices and acts of heroism. I pledge before Allah, the Almighty, that we will relentlessly strive to fulfil your aspirations for the elevation, progress, and stability of our beloved Egypt.
Thank you, and many happy returns.
Always with the help of Allah the Almighty;
Long live Egypt, Long live Egypt, Long live Egypt.
Peace and blessings be upon you.
