The great mothers of Egypt,
Distinguished guests,
I would like to begin by welcoming you to one of Egypt's most memorable and truly significant days: Egyptian Mother's Day. Egyptian mothers have raised generations of distinguished individuals, scholars, and role models in all fields of life.
The Egyptian woman, and especially the Egyptian mother, is the icon of our civilization. She is the first school, nurturing generations. She taught us that love is not measured by words, but by giving, patience, and sacrifice. She is the source of unwavering support and resolute determination. She is a wise and resourceful woman who creates much from little. She is the pillar of the family and the cornerstone of society.
Throughout the ages, the names of Egyptian women have been immortal across the diverse fields of science and various aspects of life. Their contributions illuminated the pages of history, generation after generation.
No matter how we strive to recount her virtues or measure her endless contributions, words will always fall short of the honor she is due. She remains the crown of dignity and the badge of pride upon the brow of Egypt.
To every Egyptian woman, I say: Your role today in building and protecting the nation, especially in these exceptionally critical circumstances that our region and world are going through, is not a choice but an absolute necessity, indispensable for instilling values, principles, and ethics, and for safeguarding the home front from all danger.
The Egyptian woman is not merely half of society; she is the guarantee of its continued strength and cohesion. She is the pillar upon which the nation rests in its journey towards progress and prosperity.
Distinguished guests,
Allow me to extend my deepest respect and admiration to the great Egyptian mother, who endured sleepless nights, persevered through hardships, and sacrificed her most precious for the sake of her country and duty. To every mother who lost a son or daughter, yet transformed her pain into hope, her fear into strength, and her challenge into motivation for the nation's journey towards its desired goal to continue.
Egypt will remain strong because of its mothers, as long as their hearts beat with generosity and faith, their hands extend in aid and support, and their minds spread awareness and understanding.
In conclusion, I convey a sincere message to Egyptian women: "The state is resolutely committed to upholding women's rights, ensuring their equality with men in rights and responsibilities, and fully implementing the National Strategy for the Empowerment of Egyptian Women 2030.
We will continue to enhance women's political, economic, and social participation and address all cultural and societal challenges that may hinder their role. I announce clearly: I have taken this matter upon myself, and I consider it a national priority, believing that Egypt's renaissance will not be complete without empowering women and elevating their status.
