The Egyptian economy is not solely based on mega projects but also is built on a clear vision and targeted approach which supports the market’s economy that deeply believes in the role of the private sector in achieving a stable economy.

Hence, Egypt has devised the long-term Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt Vision 2030, which aims to build a modern and democratic community; production and openness towards the world are its pillars. This strategy was developed, based on a planning approach, with the participation of the private sector and the civil society, which were pivotal to the preparation of the strategy. The aim is to guarantee and ensure proper application and implementation of policies, programs and initiatives adopted to reach these economic goals.
