Managing the Environmental Protection Ecosystem in Egypt

• The Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt Vision 2030 emphasizes the environmental dimension of sustainable development and seeks to integrate environmental aspects into the various economic sectors to achieve effective management and preservation of Egypt’s natural resources and assets as well as to guarantee the rights of future generations to development. This will support economic competitiveness, eradicate poverty and achieve social justice.

• The “Go Green” Initiative is among the initiatives aiming to raise awareness of the preservation and management of natural protected areas in accordance with international standards to maintain the balance of ecosystems and maximize economic and social development opportunities.
