President El-Sisi Offers Sincere Condolences to Egyptians over the Passing of Field Marshal Tantawy

Today, I lost a father, mentor, and patriotic figure, who was a role model from whom I learnt dedication in serving the nation.

Field Marshal Hussein Tantawy confronted the gravest threat Egypt has ever faced in its contemporary history. I have known Field Marshal Tantawy as a loving and loyal person to Egypt and its people. I therefore extend to the great people of Egypt my heartfelt condolences. I pray Allah to bestow patience and solace upon his family.
