Oncology and Haematology Hospital in Armed Forces Medical Complex in Maadi

The hospital contains 400 beds. This medical facility is the largest of its kind in the Middle East. The hospital was designed according to the latest international code and was provided with the finest diagnostic and treatment devices with the latest clinical pharmacy unit and an integrated system for preparing chemotherapy.

There are also 20 clinics for oncology and haematology. They are the most advanced units in the field of intensive care, a quantitative treatment leap made by adding the latest accurate high-power linear accelerators. The finest infection assessment systems are adoped via a CT scanner. The hospital also contains palliative care units with a capacity of 14 rooms per unit, in order to provide health care for advanced tumor cases while providing the highest monitoring and control systems with modern cameras.

The project is shown in the documentary film produced by the Department of Moral Affairs (41:16 to 42:25). It shows the different stages of development that the medical complex of the Armed Forces in Maadi went through.
