Sorgaan Canal Development Project, Damietta

The efficiency of Sorgaan Canal has been raised with a length of 750 meters and a width of 25 meters. Its sides were refined and rubblized by constructing a 240-meter-wide wall of rubble and by ensuring the continuity of water renewal and maintaining the degree of salinity therein. In addition, there are basic, service and administrative construction works for about 292 pieces within 139 feddans of investors lands.
