Al-Marashdah Silo, Qena

The silo was established on an area of ​​7 feddans with a total of 30 thousand meters. It consists of major administrative and network facilities. The main facilities consist of 12 cells for storing yields, each of which is 22 meters in diameter and 25 meters high, can accommodate 5,000 tons of grains with a total of 60 thousand tons and is equipped with tower cranes that control the movement of the cones inside the silo, 2 scales for weighting the cones, a magnet for collecting mineral impurities, a trommel to trommel the wheat and to separate the dust and impurities from the product. As for the administrative establishments, they consist of two gates in the security room, an electric room, a workshop, a spare parts store, a mosque and an administrative building. As for the networks, there is a fire station to secure the entire silo. This network is linked to a pipe tank with a capacity of 200 tons and linked to a pumps room.
