Wady El-Natron Transformer Station

• President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the station by video conferencing (Tuesday 24/7/2018) during the inauguration of his Excellency a number of national projects in the field of electricity.

• Wady El-Natron transformer station was opened with a capacity of 1500 megawatts. It is one of the largest national projects in the electricity sector at the level of the Republic.

• The station consists of 3 units with a production capacity of 1500 megawatts, which performs many tasks, including feeding investment projects, and managing the electrical capabilities required for large industrial and agricultural projects to be established in the Wadi Al-Natroun region. It also aims to enhance the national grid.
