Abu Sultan Farm for Protected Crops

Abu Sultan farm, which is located south of the Abu Sultan area, extends on an area of 12500 feddans and includes 2350 medium-technology greenhouses, each with an area of 2.5 feddans. The project will provide 20,000 job opportunities.

Preparations for agriculture will start in April 2019; additionally, water-related projects are currently under implementation and about to be finished by the Armed Forces Water Department through the usage of a water lifter with a capacity of 200 thousand m3/day on the Suez Canal. Electricity works are also underway and are about to be fully executed by the National Company for Protected Agriculture through the establishment of a power station with a capacity of 80 MVA from the Abu Sultan power station.
