Shalaten Central Hospital, Red Sea

Shalaten Central Hospital is a great medical edifice that aims to solve the biggest problems of the residents of Shalaten, Halayeb and Abu Ramad. It includes 40 beds in several departments and also contains orthopedics, ophthalmology, internal medicine and dental clinics, 3 operating theaters, a fully equipped intensive care room, neonatal care units, obstetrics and gynecology and dialysis departments, outpatient clinics, and CT scans and sonar department. The hospital has all the medical specialties and clinics required for the people of the south.

This hospital is also provided with a generator with a capacity of 2 megawatts to ensure that the electrical current flows all day long.  

The project is shown in the documentary film "A Better Tomorrow" produced by the Armed Forces Morale Affairs Department (from 7:37 to 8:00).

The cost of this project: EGP 122 million.
