Battery Factory in Qaha Company for Chemical Industries

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated, via video conference, the battery production factory at Qaha Company for Chemical Industries (Factory 270) that was established over area of 4000 square meters with a production capacity of 120 thousand batteries annually. This project aims to meet the armed forces' need for this type of batteries that are used in operating vehicles and equipment of the armed forces. The project also aims to make use of the energy surplus to meet the needs of the local market, government agencies, the public sector and car production factories. This is a step taken towards manufacturing an Egyptian-made car. The factory was established at a cost of EGP 124.7 million.
