In the same vein, industrial complexes are to be established, based on full-fledged agricultural production systems. Crops are to be cultivated and harvested with the latest mechanisms. The processes of sorting, packaging and manufacturing also fall within the scope of the project. Moreover, Egypt’s Future project provides hundreds of thousands of new job opportunities.

The other phases, covering an area of 300 thousand feddans, are being reclaimed.

The project will depend on providing water resources for agricultural wastewater treatment plants that have been established. Its infrastructure has also been implemented, which includes paving about 500-km-long internal roads, digging groundwater wells, and establishing two power stations with a capacity of 350 megawatt, a 200-km-long internal electric power grid, stores for meeting production requirements, and administrative and residential buildings.
