President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today evening a phone call from His Highness King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein of Jordan.
As stated by the Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, they discussed, during the phone call, some bilateral issues between both brotherly countries, especially those related to strengthening trade and cooperation in the fields of energy and electrical interconnection. The phone call also saw a discussion regarding the development of various regional issues. Both parties agreed on continuing mutual efforts to resolve the existing crises in a number of countries across the region through supporting the national institutions to regain security and stability.
Moreover, during the phone call the latest updates regarding the Palestinian cause were discussed and point of views were exchanged on how to resolve the current situation regarding the peace process in the Middle East and to promote the efforts so as to resume the negotiations.
