President El-Sisi Receives CEO of Dassault Aviation

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received at his residence in Paris, Mr. Éric Trappier, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dassault Aviation, a French aerospace company and the designer and builder of the Rafale multirole fighter.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed aspects of fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Dassault Aviation, in light of its long-standing experience in the military industries that depend on the latest technological and technical systems.

Mr. Trappier expressed his pride in cooperation with Egypt in the field of security and defense industries. He also expressed his keenness to continue and promote joint cooperation in order to support Egypt's balanced and wise role to achieve stability and security in its region as well as its pioneering role within the framework of the international efforts to combat terrorism.

For his part, President El-Sisi stressed that commitment is needed to support capabilities and the use of the latest technological systems in the field of security and defense, in light of the enormous challenges facing the region. This is a strategic approach that Egypt adopts to preserve its security, territorial integrity, borders and the capabilities of its people, which would have a direct impact on the stability and security of the Eastern Mediterranean and the whole Middle East.
