President El-Sisi Meets the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber. The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, the Minister of Communications and IT as well as Chief of the General Intelligence, Major General Abbas Kamel, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the meeting tackled ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in investments, IT, energy and communications.

President El-Sisi asked for his greetings to be conveyed to UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. President El-Sisi welcomed boosting the size and scope of UAE investments in Egypt and lauded the progress achieved in the firm, brotherly relations between the two countries across various levels. The President confirmed that Egypt looks forward to further advancing bilateral ties for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples, and to exploring additional prospects for cooperation in all areas, particularly in sectors where the two countries enjoy preferential advantages. This aims to solidify the strategic relations between the two countries.

H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber conveyed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’s greetings to President El-Sisi. He lauded the conducive investment and trade climate in Egypt, in light of the comprehensive development process now underway in the country under the leadership of President El-Sisi. He noted that this offers diverse opportunities for UAE and foreign investments in the Middle East region and Africa in general. H.E. Dr. Sultan Al Jaber underscored the UAE’s commitment to strengthening frameworks of the strategic cooperation between the two countries across the various levels.
