Egypt Dispatches Emergency Aid to the State of Iraq

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Egypt offered support to the brotherly people of Iraq.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health prepares to dispatch medical supplies to Iraq. A military transport plane, carrying tons of milk and medicines, flew from Cairo East Air Base to the State of Iraq; a number of officials in Iraq received the plane.

For their part, the Iraqi officials expressed their profound appreciation and thanks to the Egyptian leadership, government and people for the efforts Egypt has made and for standing by Iraq in times of adversity and crisis. The Iraqi officials further confirmed that this aid reflects the fraternal ties binding the two brotherly peoples.

This aid comes within the framework of the Egyptian efforts and endeavors to support the countries of the region and alleviate the burden on the brotherly people of Iraq.
