Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for providing support to the Republic of Sudan in dealing with the effects of the flash floods and heavy rains that have ravaged the country, the second batch of aid was dispatched to Sudan.
Two military planes, loaded with several bread production lines, took off from Cairo East Air Base en route to Khartoum International Airport in Sudan in order to help alleviate the burden on the Sudanese people during this most recent crisis.
The Sudanese officials expressed their profound thanks and gratitude for the tireless efforts made by Egypt and for its continuous support to Sudan during this crisis and throughout the history of the long-standing and deep-rooted relationship between both countries.
The continuous Egyptian efforts support the flood-affected Sudanese people, who have been hit by flash floods and heavy rains that have swept through the country recently.
