In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
My Dear Brother, Your Majesty King Abdullah II,
The King of the Sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan,

It gives me great pleasure and honor to join you –Your Majesty the King and the brotherly people of Jordan – for the centenary of the founding of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This occasion is dear to Egypt and the Arab and Islamic worlds. It represents an opportunity to renew our commitment to our two brotherly peoples by promoting joint action and coordinating efforts in order to promote relations between the two countries and to strive together to explore more fruitful cooperation opportunities to achieve security, stability, prosperity, peace and development for the peoples and countries of the region.

We truly recall Jordan’s pivotal role in the Arab and Islamic arenas and its support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. We also appreciate the fact that the brotherly Jordan has always been standing by Egypt and supporting the various issues affecting it, based on the historical and close relations that unite us at the official and popular levels.

Your Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan,

Undoubtedly, the strategic alignment between Egypt and Jordan is capable of addressing all challenges. This alignment stems from the historical ties extending between both countries.

Hence, I would like to conclude my speech by extending congratulations from the people of Egypt to the king, government, and people of Jordan on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. I wish you and your brotherly people more peace, prosperity, and stability to continue cooperation and coordination between us for the good of our two countries, our peoples, and our Arab Nation.

Thank you.
