National Anthem

The First National Anthem

The National anthem is considered a true reflection of national sentiments and a real indicator of the culture of societies. It often expresses a distinctive historical moment, in which the desire for action is amalgamated with the will of challenge, resulting in words of motivation and enthusiasm. Egypt’s first national anthem first appeared during the reign of Khedive Ismail in 1869 and was composed by the Italian musician Verdi. The first national anthem for Egypt was played in Opera Aida in the legendary opening of the Suez Canal while Khedive Ismail was receiving the Kings and Princes from all over the world.

The Eagle of Egypt has risen and is rising over time

The people of Egypt has been gathered around the Army of the Homeland

We are all the guard of the Homeland

All of us would sacrifice our life

Go forward, protectors of the flag, and go to the top

The people of this homeland have been armed to go to the top

The people of this homeland, all of them are noblemen!
